I think there's Kentwood icebowl/monthly? on Jan 7th, but there's also some RADL monthly on the 8th, anyone know anything about that? I get these e-mails from Chuck about all the monthlies but no idea what courses they are on.

It's my understanding that the Kentwood monthlies ended in December and unless somebody else takes them over, they won't be continuing in 2006. Jim Markov ran them for 5 years and was able to replace all the baskets at Kentwood during this time. He expected the turnouts to increase and didn't see the increased participation he hoped for.... so December was the last Kentwood monthly. He will be running Kentwood Summer Doubles though.....

That is correct, no more Kentwood Monthlies. As for the RADL monthly, it is on Jan 22 and it is the Ice Bowl that was mentioned earlier.

Greensboro Ice Bowl:
Saturday, February 4th at Barber Park
2 rounds, first round at 10:00 am, player's meeting at 9:45 am.
$15 entry, players pack for all entrants, $6 of entry goes toward charity.
$ mulligans in the first round! FREE hot dogs and soft drinks for lunch! Pinata for prizes! CTP throwoff for a $100 gift certificate! It should be a lot of fun.
I know that there is a conflict with the Archdale Ice Bowl, but there isn't another date the GSO group can host. Remember, it's all for a good cause, so support one of the two. Hope to see some of you in Greensboro.

Apologies to the Creekside folks. Our small little tournament will chug along with yours. Lets do some regional coordination for next year. Our divisions are 'rank amatuers' and everyone else. Payouts will be: for 1st place each division- $25 Gift card from The Great Outdoor Provision Company. If enough players show up we will sweeten the payout with merchandise for 1st and 2nd place in each division. Mulligans are unlimited at $1 per. The CTP for a $100 Gift Card is $2 per throw. I have a fair amount of discs and clothing to offer as well. All is geared to maximize the giving for Greensboro Urban Ministries. Please come! No Wimps, No Winers!

Nice job to the OHO crew today out at Johnson Street. I'd like to point out that I recorded over 1/4 of the total birdies ;-). Too bad for those 5s. Also, just a reminder that the Barber Park Ice Bowl is on the 4th of February as well. So if Archdale is too far away or you want a shot at $100 in gift certificates to Great Outdoor Provision Co., come find us in Greensboro. Both look to be a good time, and its all for a good cause!!

Tee time of round 1 at 10:00AM and round 2 after lunch. Format will be two rounds of seeded/random doubles.
