There's a new course opening up this Saturday, 10th in Tampa, Fl - Lutz, to be exact.

It's on the corner of Livingston Ave and Newberger Rd. Livingston runs from Bearss Ave. to S.R. 54.

Reese from Fly 18 is finishing up the final touches on what is going to be a VERY fun and challenging course.

The course has a clubhouse for beverages and snacks. I assume there will eventually be discs for sale. The clubhouse boasts a "practice center" where one can work on his/her game. Ken Climo has, evidently, agreed to host some workshops where we can utilize the course's computer generated technique software where you can compare your throw with the world champ's. There is also a driving range that the owners have agreed to let us use - even at night as it's lit up with huge lights.

The owners are very optimistic about this venture. They're very open-minded folk with a nice down-to-earth attitude.

What's remarkable about this course is that it has elevation changes. Only 3 or 4 baskets are on flat ground. All of the others are resting precariously on hills - some of which are steep. Water comes into play on few holes. The finishing hole is ridiculous.

Ken Climo helped design this layout, so you know it's going to be fun.

It is walk only, so no carts. Feel free to bring whatever beverages you'd like. Like I said, the owners are cool. Just be respectful and don't litter, please,

The price to lay hasn't been decide, but should be below $10.

There are 9 holes with 2 baskets on each hole, so it plays like an 18. Each basket placement is VERY different. Also, each hole has 3 different tee lengths. So, in theory, you could play....well, a ton of holes.

The lengths are as follows:

Pro - 6,150 ft
Red - 5, 218
White - 4, 298

I know I'm leaving out some info, but I have to get some studying done.

I just played the course and it's incredible. It's VERY fun and quite difficult. I only had 5 or 6 birdie opportunities (and missed all of them). Since the baskets are on hills, and since we're in FL, I found myself laying up on quite a few occasions.

Definitely a must-play.
