Hey all,

I'm considering taking a road trip around xmas time to SoCal, but I'll need to bring my dog with me. When we play at Delaveaga or in Berkeley or any number of other NorCal courses, I bring her and keep her on leash. Occasionally I'll let her run around a little, but mostly I keep her right by my side.

Anyway, which Southern California courses do not allow dogs on leash? I'm assuming Emerald Isle is no dogs, but what about Morley or La Mirada? Anyone know about Santa Maria's policy? That's right on the way. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Matt

Ok, so Abby can go with me to La Mirada on a leash. Excellent!

Anyone know about Oak Grove, Santa Maria, Morley Field, etc?

There is a dog park at Santa Maria where dogs can be off leash. Dogs can be on leashes in the rest of the park.

While you can bring dogs to Sylmar on a leash, there are many goatheads(ground stickers), so I wouldn't recommend it. Oak Grove allows dogs on a leash. As far as I know, El Dorado, Huntington Beach and Whittier all allow dogs on leashes.

Thanks Discette! (especially for the heads up about the thorns).
