Mine are about done after two-three years of playing. I just can't find good ones that have a short inseam longer than 9 in (geek-length). I've seen people wearing them, where do you get them? Mine were on clearance and the store has since changed names and style. Thanks.

That's a toughie. Styles change from year to year. I used to always wear khaki shorts with a belt. Then, one year all i could find was draw strings, which I hated. But upon realizing that I didn't have to wear a belt, I liked them.

Now, I'm having trouble finding shorts with draw strings.

I would guess look online or in catalogs.

That's funny. I get my shorts at American Eagle (their pants fit me really well for some reason) and the trend there seems to be that each year the shorts look more and more beat up. My old ones look almost the same as my new ones because of this.

Darn, you beat me to it. Sierra is great for clothing/shoes, but because they deal with closeouts it's neccessary to check their website fairly often. Frequently, they have items you want, but not in the correct size. I've had great success dealing with them (multiple times). Matter of fact, i've bought two pairs of convertible pants from them in the past.

You might want to try www.campmor.com (http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/campmor/iphrase.jsp?command=text&text=convertible) . They have a selection of convertible pants.

Thanks to the last two guys for actually attempting to answer my question!:mad::mad: But they're all geek-length shorts! I just got the Campmor catalog and all those are geek-length too. Shorts inseam must be at least 11 in. Everything I've seen is 8-9. I found some at kneelengthshorts.com, but they look sort of cheap.

A long pant inseam does not change the inseam of the shorts once the legs are zipped off. A 8-9 in short inseam is still 8-9 in no matter what the length of the pants.
I quote myself, "must be at least 11 in." Too hard to understand Hank?

I don't wear your fancy hifalutin pants; just thought I'd look around here for them. The styles down here are long, and I couldn't find short inseam if I wanted one.

Most of the ones I have are from REI. They have a pretty good selection and different lengths (shorts and pants)

I want a pair of the Columbia "Million Miles" Capris. But sadly, they are not sold in the US.
