I got an Innova Ace recently and threw it on a course for the first time today. Man that thing goes! I exceeded my longest drive ever. And it's easy to throw with consistency too.

It's a Fairway Driver. A nice straight flyer. Great for beginners. Most similar to a JLS, I would say.
It's pretty old school too, isnt it.

not really. It's not a brand new disc, but it is still a great disc, especially for beginners or finnesse shots.

They really fly but I turn them over every time, even if I release it on a spike hyzer.

**** innova. There are 2 different discs called the ace. One which was made in the late 80's which is very similar to an xd. And the newer ace which is a 165 gram only driver.

Innova has also run some Aces in a super light DX. I think they weighed about 113g. A great driver for young kids who know how to throw a golf disc.

officially, the aces come in 2 weights, 130g for the EDGE program, and 165g which was originally a Wal-Mart exclusive.
they are extremely easy to throw, especially for lower-powered and newer players. can be flattened easily, even when thrown slightly nose up. they do take a finesse throw to make them fly without turning. there is also very little fade if any.
imo they fall into that "discs shouldn't fly that way" type of disc which yield tremendous results for new players but also gives them unrealistic expectations of what to expect from other discs and doesn't force them to develop proper mechanics.
for mid to low power throwers, its flight is similar to a light sabre but the sabre is still more stable.

The perfect disc for Padowans... :D
