I may go to St Louis this weekend. What are the best courses in the area? Also, if there are any tournaments in the area I would like to play the courses that are played in the tournament. Thanks.
A lot of them have been re done in the last year.
St. charles FBC- Short and some good shots, but overall not that great.
Creve couer- Long and open, not that exciting
Endicott- a lot of good holes, I enjoyed it a lot.
Souix passage- some long and open holes, some wooded holes, a good mix
Jeff Barracks- Very nice course
Wentzville- very nice course plays a lot in the woods and over a crevasse.
also on the other side of the border, i think woodland park in collinsville is nice too.
Have Fun

Depending on your time available (and based on the ones I've played)...
Play Endicott and Jeff. Barracks first. Both are great.
Then play Sioux Passage (they've just redesigned it, but the older course--9 in front/9 in back was good).
If you're up to monster golf, play Creve Coeur. It was redone in August and if it's all longs it plays every bit of par 68.
I will probably only be there for one whole day. I have heard good things about the Barracks course - Endicott looks good too. I will try to check them both out if I have time.
I played Jefferson Barracks in August. It's a great course with some neat holes.
Which of these courses are played in the local tournaments? Anyone know?
