Does Discraft have any understable (right turn) drivers? Or is the best bet to buy a stable driver and beat it up some?
I know people keep telling me that as my arm improves I won't like understable, but it's been 10 years, not sure it's gonna improve any.

All discs turn right.
...when thrown RHFH, or LHBH. :p
I can make those discs turn right, but I find them generally stable, not understable.

Just like your new Avengers, The Z versions are more overstable than their X and D counterparts. :)

Hank, have you tried a Z Tracker yet? Pretty good right turn. It's not a Sidewinder, but it's pretty good. The Glow Tracker is out (and I would guess less stable than the Z), and you can order them at sunkingdiscs.com (you might have to call Mike, I don't think they, and the Glow Buzzz are posted yet).

just take any disc and throw it into a wall at point blank range about 300 times and it will turn right(RHBH) and if that doesn't work, run over it with your car.
It's not a Discraft disc, but I use the Maximizer by Little Flyers when I want a right turn.

They go left for me
Understable Discraft .. I just beat the crap out of an Elite X Avenger and a Glow XL. Both turn over quicker than ... finish your own cliche....
Yeah, my beat up x avengers turn right already. I was asking for when friends ask me for advice for a right turn disc. If I need to turn right, I just put anny on it.
I've never known what to tell them to buy right from the factory that will turn right.
Haven't tried the trackers yet; I was hoping they'd become a regular release.
out of the box right turn ... X-Press or Stratus. Neither of them go very far though, At least for me.

Agreed. The X press has the perfect stability for good drives in calm conditions, but I can't get it to go. No matter how hard I throw, the disc just dies. The valk has similar stability but flies way farther.

Stratus. they go far enough in the air, and can go a ways on the ground.

You kidding? My xpress gets good distance. It is stable for me though, not understable.
I never threw it enough to knock the stable off of mine, so mine was only understable if I really pushed it hard.
I had a hard time making friends with it, and eventually took it out of the bag in favor of the sabre for the short control drives.
I gave it to my brother, who has completed the seasoning on it, and seems to be able to get more distance with it than I ever did. I think it needs more height in order to go far. I fought with it, he loves it.
YMMV
Mike sent me a photon xpress. I see how y'all consider it understable; it definately turns right.
Incidentally, my first attempts at throwing a glide revealed another understable disc (or from issue...).
I want to try that glide when the wind isn't blowing the hair off my head.

I'm loving the Glide lately, it's my go to midrange/understable/right turn disc. Only problem I have with it is that it's pretty fast, and seems to pick up speed when it's coming down. Takes some practice to make it land short, or at the basket, and it skips. Not always a bad thing, but it can get away sometimes.
Funny, I was playing skins last night and raked it in on a 5 hole stack ... Glided right under the basket for me on a short right-turning hole. SWEEEET! lol
Probably should have thrown a slow understable putter, but it worked out ok.
Yeah, the glide is not really a short hole disc. I'm throwing it when I can't quite reach with my buzz. It turns way over for me. So, I'm gonna give it up or use it for right turns. I have a light buzz that I keep for right turns already.
I'm going to keep testing it. It has some great potential as soon as I figure out how to throw it.
I'm with you on the glide. I fished one of these out of Expo park's lake recently and am in love with it. Real easy distance. Works great for holes that are just under long driver length. No real effort needed to throw it either. Not a great wind disc though.

Yeah, I love my buzz's and glide, but the wind does not allow me to use them much. Go demon!
