i know this is kind of off topic by when i went to campgaw i had a misreble time because of the over grown grass and ticks. Is july just a bad time or was this just me. So far i have heard nothing but good things about this course from people and it is kind of bothering me. Some please help

Remember that the course was only installed this spring! I agree that the holes playing on the back nine (up and down the mountain) were primitive and could be improved.

Later in the season they were to some extent. Bergen County, Dan, Scott and lots of others have done wonders there considering the course is still an infant.

However, the winter course is completely through the woods!
There is a full 18 that plays around the "summer 9" loop around the mountain. Long tees were used to make extra holes, and some completely new holes were added as well.

There are no ticks out there this time of year, and if you like technical courses, you will love the "Winter Campgaw". Par of 54, and if you can throw straight you can score well on this course. The winter layout is a must see! Plus, it's only one hike up the mountain instead of four, leaving enough gas in the tank for a few good rounds. I actually prefer the winter layout. :D

Come on out Saturday! PM me for more details if you wish.

Peace
