One of you older guys has to know what this is? Driver, Mid? Putter even... When and why was it discontinued? What took it's place?

It was an attempt at an Ultimate disc.
It never really worked, so they went with the Pulsar.

These worked good for Accuracy. There were big lids, like the old Whamo 80 molds. I've got one thats got to be over 200g.

They also had flight rings like the Wham-O�s, just a few where run in heavier weights like flynvegas�. The normal runs wieghs around 165 grams. I think you can still find them on some webshops, if not, there are some of them popping up on ebay .
The Apple is a terrible flyer if you ask me, mold 100 from Wham-O still is the reference ;)
