I carry both the x avenger and z avenger, but I can do anything with my predator that my z avenger does. Do y'all think I need both a z predator and avenger?

Or will the avenger break in and be a little more stable?

I carry both the Z Avenger and Z Pred.

The Z-Avenger enables me to keep a fresh Z-Pred in the bag, and not have to carry around the one Z-Pred that took a year to beat up.......in which i'm scared to lose.

The Z-Pred is better than that firebird ever was.....for me. Great for headwinds, hyzers, helix shots, two-fingers, ........i could go on and on.

The Z-Avenger also stretched my two finger shot out a little bit. I definitly see a need to carry both.

I really liked the Z-Avenger when it was new but it is starting to get a little bit to stable where it used to be over stable.

It maxes out at 174...no bigger than your average driver nowadays. It must be you. :)

I guess maybe my z predator is beat up a bit; maybe I need to replace it with a new one or try the firebird/spirit everyone talks about.

I thought this too. It felt much bigger in my hands, and it made me think about if it should max at 176.

But as it took the place of the Orc in my bag. I compared the two side by side. The Z-Avenger is marginally smaller then the Orc. Hence the 174 and 175 max weights. But the Avenger has a smaller percentage of the diameter of the disc in the rim compared to the Orc. (The Orc is wider rimmed). Our simple brains see similar discs and expect the same feel/size. So when it feels different we go to the simiplest explanation, ie "it must be bigger".

I carry both a Z-Predator and a Z-Avenger. The Avenger is my straight and finish left distance driver, and the Pred is my meat hook spike hyzer disc. I still carry a firechicken only because it goes farther before the heavy fade then the Pred does. But if I had to get rid of one of them, I would have to ditch the chicken.

How are you getting the z avenger to go straight?? It reminded me of my predator from the start, so threw it where I would throw my predator. The results were nearly identical.

I carry a Z Pred a Z Tsunami 2 Z Avengers and an X Avenger.

Z Pred is most overstable then Z Tsunami and so on and so forth. I dont think the Z Avenger is anywhere near as overstable as the Z Pred and if you do then you might not have the armspeed for the Z Avenger. I find my Z Avenger to have MASSIVE glide. I am throwing the Z Avengers around 450 for golf shots with my normal run up. My Z Pred prolly maxes out around 375-385 because of its overstability.

then I have a lighter Z Avenger that will hold a turn ever more and glide out even further then the 174. Then I throw my X for flip shots long turns and rollers. I can only hope they just keep tweaking the mold and make a disc that is less stable then the avenger and then something less stable then that :D

You may be right about my armspeed. Hero reminded me that my predator is well broken in. I was just caught off gaurd with the x avenger flying so stable and the z turning left. I need a new x avenger; mine is starting to turn right.

Keep the one that turns right then All you have to carry is a Z Pred Z Avenger 1 New X Avenger and 1 Seasoned X Avenger and you dont need any other drivers. Then just put a Z Wasp a Z BUZZZ and 2 beat up D BUZZZs in your bag and your set for life :D

That is my intention. I need to order x avengers by the bundle as they seem to beat up fast. I don't have a wasp, but I have 2 z buzz and a demon. One z buzz is somewhat understable, so I use it for annys.

Anyone know when the new signature x avenger is being released? I'm gonna call in an order this afternoon; I keep getting the answering machine from work.
