I've never heard of it, but why would you want to learn a discontinued disc?
(although, one of my favorite right turning discs is a discontinued Innova Moray. I just don't plan on losing it. EVER!)
If you're looking for a disc that does fly right (rhbh) I'd look into a DX Stingray. (which in my opinion probably replaced the Moray. Stingray is more of a catchy name .:D )

The gremlin is a very straight flyer for beginner and intermmediate players when brand new. I used to love to throw them...but when I heard they were discontinued...I stopped. I still have a few of the dx one's in the closet as well as some of the Pro Line/Champion one's. Wish they would make a CFR Glow Gremlin. That would be sweet.

It's like a faster small diameter Roc in Proline(champion) plastic... I still have 1 in Proline plastic and i used to throw them in DX.. they are like the ching sniper if i remember correctly.

Dave has it on the list to be made in CFR plastic, but he has so many other discs that it will be uncertain when it gets run.. I hope that they put the DX stamp on the CFR disc like they did with some of the newer Dyed Champion Rhynos!

Special Blend Gremlin.......thats where its at

If you remember the Proline Gremlin it was very close to SPecial Blend.. It is the grippiest Champion(pro) plastic i've ever felt and If i remember correctly It was never run in any Clear Candy plastic.. All the ones that i've come across were Opaque.. This leads me to believe that it's possible that they were already working on making a special blend plastic back then :)..

Hopefully Dave can find some time at his factory to make some CFR's in Glow and Special :)

2 were two runs...

The first runs were what greatzky described. There was a run of clearish Gremlins cause I used to have a yellow one.

It's the same as the Ching Sniper.

Actually, the Sniper mold was retooled for the Gremlin, there's definitely a difference.

I thought the Gremlin was a beaded Panther?

The kickin' stamp! That's what originally attracted me to the Gremlin. The fact that they don't make them is why I stopped throwing them. I loved the Proline while I threw it, though.

I still carry 3 in my bag: beat-to-hell DX, newish DX, & ProLine. I couldn't live in tree-lined VA without 'em!

I thought they were the same... How are they different?

The bottom half is different. It has a more pointed rim with less "curve" than the Sniper. In addition, the Gremlin has a pronounced "bead" as well.
