I,ve been looking on the net at all the sights for discgolf bags and can't seem to find the one I need. I recently went to the Mr. jims open in Carrlton Tx. and saw at least 16 guys who had modified there caddy to hold the bag I'm looking for. I've got the caddy (BUT I CAN'T FIND THE BAG) Does anyone know what I'm talking about??

Is there a word missing? can I buy a hint? I feel just a little dumber for having tried to understand this.

It's called the Wallabe, by Skysouth.

I debated wheter to buy a disc cart or revolution + quadshocks. What worried me was that many courses have areas where pulling a cart would not be ideal (hope I worded that right so I don't get flamed). After watching my friend push a baby stroller with his disc bag up an incline while I trotted up with my bag and quad shocks, I think I made the correct decision.

I still think these carts are cool and will probably end up with one one day. For my 9 holer, I think my bag is fine.

I think the biggest benefit to a cart is the ability to carry extra stuff that you might need for a particular day without adding anything to your carying wieght or having to keep up with extra stuff while you play.

If it's going to be a full course, bring along a chair.
If it looks like it may rain, bring along full rain gear and an umbrella.
If it is going to be exceptionally hot, bring extra water or even a cooler.

Always bring first aid stuff, bug repellant, sunscreen, disc retrievers, spare score cards.

I couldn't fit all of that into a bag and still be able to make it around the course.

One other option that players around here use is to modify the cart with a crate that will hold your regular bag. If the course is not good for carts, just take the bag instead.

It's my 2 32 oz. bottles that kill me. Other than cooler and a chair, I carry all that stuff in my revolution bag. I keep finding things to add to my bag every time I play. Just added :Dnail clipper. Anyone else try to throw with very long nails?

If I had to drag a cart around a typical disc golf course I think I'd shoot myself. If I can't squeeze it in my bag or hang it off my waist then I don't need it.

Carts rule, but you have to be over 30 or you get ragged for pulling/pushing one! :D

Does Kent Bray still sell them? That cart saved my ASSCSS at Worlds in Houston.

I am over 30 and I do have a slipped disc (no pun intended) in my back but the idea of pulling a cart really seems like one giant pain in the,,,back.

I guess I'm not one to be hauling my beer around anyway. I drink after the round! :D

Try a 18" wheel jogging stroller. No stress to the back, you can even use it as a walker. :D:cool:

being a cart user I found it much easier to push it then pull it. since walking is basicly catching yourself falling foward, you just add a little more lean into it...gravity workin for ya :D

but then my cart doesnt wheigh that much :p (me far left)

Maybe when I'm seriously geezin' and I just HAVE to. Disc golf to me is as much about hiking around and enjoying a nice park as it is throwing my plastic. Too much stuff to lug around seems like it'd spoil the vibe. Most of the courses here in the VA area of wooded and hilly anyway.

Getting dizzy and having to leave early spoils my "vibe"; thus, I think I will continue to carry my 64 oz of water and other stuff I deem essential. If you get through a course without that much water, come to Texas!
