I was studying my grip awhile ago and figured out i don't have the disc following the crease of my palm. I tried putting it there and now i cant get my index finger pad on the inside of the rim. How do you fix this? Should i change to a grip with the index finger on the bottem of the rim?

I throw with my index finger out when I want to make sure I get less spin.

you may need to adjust the angle/placement of the index finger so that there is less spread between the index and middle fingers on the rim.
guessing this is only a problem for you with wider-rimmed discs?
i had a similar problem with discs with rims wider than 1.9cm(valkyrie width) and had to make that type of adjustment.

I have problems like that my hands are to small to grip with the disc in the crease of my palm so i cant throw like that. I adjust it so i can get my fingers underneath and get a better grip and it ends up that the rim of the disc is in a crease under my thumb. I can still get good distance with it so its just a matter of what works for you.

I like to throw my bombs with a tight control-esque grip. Can torque a disc but with less snap the disc tends not to turn over as much; which is allowing me to throw straighter discs on more shots and more lines.
Also it's nice for throwing into a headwind.

No spin = No flight except when putting! Some people just push their putts in..
In honor of the MSDGC going on now, I broke out the 05 video and noticed that Brinster seems to grip the disc at around 1 o'clock. I think i grip the disc more at 3 o'clock. What is the advantage/disadvantage of using different placements? This is concerning drivers and midranges. Furthermore, what are the A's and DA's of extending your thumb towards the middle of the disc? I primarily use a power grip with my thumb on the edge of the disc. Would adjusting my grip to a different place on the disc or moving my thumb out help increase spin or snap and thus increase D? Or would it just help keeping the nose down? Would you only make these types of adjustments for certain types of shots? I am sure this has been asked before but I am too lazy to search for it. Thanks.
