I talked about this on a seperate post, but it was more of a general question of disc golf in the region. The course at Georgia State Veteran's Park in Cordele, GA is open for play. They have an eighteen hole layout that is a good challenge for advanced players to shoot par on. Some of the holes are labeled as fours and one five, but it's really a par 52 course. IF you are in the region and haven't already made it out, give the course a try. Unfortunately, the course is pay to play. You'll need a parking pass for 3 bucks, and a disc golf pass for 2. The best way for locals is to go annual pass on both for 45. Reply here or send PM to meet for round or a mini tourney??? Love to meet any golfers on weekends for a round. Course specs in teh course directory!!!

Good deal Tifton. Keep after it. Talk it up at work, with your friends, at church, wherever you can find anyone that'll listen. I grew up south of Macon and I can't imagine that those old boys are any different now than they were then. They'd love disc as much as we do. They just don't know anything about it. Can't wait to see the Cordele course.

When ya getting back up toward Y'ville? Holler when you do.
