I recently was given a disc called an optimizer for my disc golf club. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it?
The few times I have thrown it it starts off angling left (RHBH) then levels out after 1-2 seconds and flies straight. It is a strange disc, very thin and flimsy, but says PDGA approved.
Anyone know who makes it or how it is supposed to throw?

Originally it was meant as a roller from my understanding, but not very practical since it is so flippy
That disc will turn right for 90% of the people throwing it if thrown flat. Kind of a fun disc to play around with.

The best disc ever made. I can get it to flip upside down if I throw it hard. :D

I call my Optimizer "Nerd of Golf Discs"
I use it to roll. Alot.
IT'S FUN TO GIVE TO PEOPLE AND ASK THEM TO MAKE IT GO LEFT

If I'm not mistaken, it was manufactured by a company called Disc Golf Stuff and was manufactured in Canada under Innova's Patent License (which was still in effect at the time). Innova still has boatloads in stock (or did a few months ago) and from what I hear, when they're gone, they're gone for good.

The Optimizer is the worst disc available for anyone who can throw over 150'. For those who can't reach this mark, Optimizers are good turnover discs.
