Hey everyone, I'm new to this board, and need a little help. I just moved to Southern California (Diamond Bar to be specific), and I used this site's awesome course directory, but unfortunatly I neglected to bring my discs and was hoping I could get the names of some local shops with decent prices/selection. Thanks

It is a nice site, but I really prefer to buy my discs in person, thats why I was lookin for some places around here, I noticed they're in California, but the address is just a p.o box.

swedish, you can also go to the pro shop at La Mirada county regional disc golf course. Or to the pro shop at Huntingto Central disc golf course. La Mirada is the closest to your house. Go west on Imperial to Santa Gertrudes south. Then turn west again right before the County golf course on Foster. First stop sign at the High School turn left past the school and into the second parking lot on the right. The pro shop is in between the tennis courts.

Cool, that was something else i was wondering about, curious what courses (around my 91765 zip) had how many holes and what kind of upkeep and all that. Back in Michigan I really only went to Brewer park, 72 holes, nice variety and props to "The Guy" for maintainence. I assume La Mirada will top that though, with a pro shop and all, and I just now noticed that I can click on each park and get a bunch of info, one more question though, are the mach 1/2/3, discatcher, just basket brands?

La Mirada is the best course in So Cal and one of the top courses in the US. It is normally in a 27 hole layout. There are now tee signs on each hole showing all basket placements and the way to the next tee. The Mach 1/2/3 or Discatcher refers to the type of targets on the course. La Ma has a mix.

So does La Mirada tend to be crowded then, I'm probably going tommorow, Sunday, and wouldn't mind having a little privacy for my first time out in a couple months /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
