He's right. You have to learn a disc before you add it to your bag for competitive play.

Looking at your setup, if there wasn't a tournament coming up so soon for you, I would suggest scrapping all the discs you have and getting a more traditional setup.

Well it looks like the weekest part of your bag is the Putter/Approach slot. I see that you have a Bulldog, but I'd suggest a KC Pro Aviar or JK Aviar-x.

I'm thinking maybe a "hooked on phonics" disc or something.

The best disc in your bag is the wraith; I still don't know that I would use it as a primary driver.

If it is possible, you may want to start upgrading your discs.

Here are my recommendations:

Putter: Wizard all the way. Get the 5 disc special and you get to decide which firmness suits you best.

Midrange: buzz and wasp are good, with the wasp being more overstable. If you like a straighter midrange go with the buzz.

Pure distance driver: your set with that wraith

Straight driver: xpress, wildcat, viking are all good ( I have one of each).

Overstable driver: predator, talon, firebird the z avenger is pretty overstable (and a good distance flyer) too

Understable: Beat up a disc, or perhaps a sidewinder

I believe if I was started over with what I know now. I would start with a wizard, a buzz and a wildcat or xpress (they fly similar for me).

Then I'd add my overstable stuff predator or z avenger.
