I threw my new pro Wraith 173 this weekend. Is it me or is it somewhat stable? It flew straight for me which surprised me because I thought I read that it was overstable.
It could be the way I threw it; I think I saw something about it flying straight if you hyzer it some.
Anyone else have a stable Wraith?
It's white in case color matters in this case.
The Wraith can be turned over rather easily and hold the line for a LONG time. It doesn't seem to fade till the last 10-15% of its flight. Its a pretty stable disc fo me. Not too overstable, not to flippy. The glide on these things is INSANE!
I definatetly got some distance out of it.
It went further than my new z avenger; I think this is because the avenger turns left at the end of it's flight.
I can pretty much throw the wraith and my beat up x avenger the same distance. So far it is very controllable for me. I normally do not carry ultra long distance drivers because they are hard for me to control.
Will it beat up and turn understable though? I think my x avenger will be understable soon.
I turned one over (RHBH) this weekend and I was cursing the glide. Why oh why did they have to make this disc so long! It took me so far off course!
I'll agree - Not very overstable for me AT ALL. Wait for the CFR's - I'm thinking those will fill the gaps just nicely.
Thanks Keith. I start to worry when discs handle differently for me than other players.
When I got my z xpress, I got a very nice long, straight driver, but I was expecting a right-turn disc as some players had suggested.
My champion sidewinder is still relatively straight at the moment; I figure I haven't quite learned this disc or need to put more anny on it. My sting ray, which my gf is using, turns right without any anny applied to it.
