I finally got to throw my new Demon this weekend (Thank you Sun King for the great service!). I was warned that it would not fly to far, but I definately was surprised at how quick it cuts left. Of course, I bought it for the wind, and it was quite still this weekend, so I'm not sure if I will be able to use it into a head wind.

Any suggestions for throwing it? At this point, I can only see using it for gettting around obstacles.

Before someone tells me to get a blaze, I plan too as soon as I can find a max weight in e plastic.

I'd like to hear from those that use the demon.

I used to, and they are pretty sweet! They are best for hyzers in the wind...a shot almost impossible except for the Demon and a select other few. Also really good for skipping around stuff, and a nice approach disc as well. (SUPER predictable flight!)

You will not be dissapointed, and when you get your Blaze you will have a pretty complete wind/overstable midrange setup.

I mostly use my Demon for forehand approach shots that need to go right quickly. It's also good for shorter hyzer skip shots. In calm conditions the Demon is easily the shortest disc in my bag.

I have been carrying an ugly old S Demon for years. It is a great disc to have in the bag for shots that need to turn RIGHT NOW. Plus, you can beat the heck out of it and it just keeps going, and even in the wet, it is grippy as can be. I don't use it a lot, but when I need it, I am always glad I have it with me. Have recently started carrying an old Blaze and am still trying to figure out what I will do with it -- not so much a comment on the disc as a comment on me.. You can think of the Demon as a brick that hyzers.

It definately is the shortest disc in my bag. I did putt with it several times in some wind, and it worked well.

I think when it beats up some, it may go further. I haven't tried flexing it like I've been told to do.

I'm actually hoping for a windy day, so that I can throw it. This weekend was mainly a Buzz day. It may be one of those discs I keep as an alternate for when it is windy.

Right now I am carrying:

172 z buzz for annhyzers
176 z buzz for straight shots
173 mrx for straight and slight hyzers
174 Demon for extreme hyzers and windy conditions

I am thinking of removing a buzz and maybe even the mrv. Do y'all think that a buzz and a demon would serve most if not all of my midrange needs?

I also carrying too many straight discs at the moment.

Hank,
Get your demon broken in by hitting a few softer trees really hard about 5 or 20 times :D.
It will get to a point where it will fly straighter and still hyzer hard left.
Check the flight after every 2 or 3 hits.

You may want to try an E hybrid for your longer overstable midrange shots instaed of the blaze.
Sabre, Blaze, Hybrid and Demon can all be used as mid0rnages as well as drivers, It just depends on how much power you have ;)
We should have the E Hybrids stamped and ready to ship soon and it will be a while before we get to the E Blazes.
I think Sunking is first on the list of retailers to get some.

Sun Kings will probably be who I order from due to their service. They have e blazes just not in max weight; I think the heaviest they had was 168.

This hybrid, is it an overstable fairway driver like the blaze?

How does it compare?
