Alright, this is the next one on the LSS Radar!!!

Just over 2 weeks away, this promises to be a great event, with an esimated 800+ dollar acepot!!!!!

Sep 20 2005, 06:48 PM
$545 carry over - if we have our normal 50 golfers that would put the ace pot around $800 with a legit shot at it being $1,000 after signups are done. :D

Sign up early and get a players pack....

Dang if you are looking for someone unemployed to give them too add me to the list.

It really just depends on how many people come out. It usually plays pretty **** fast, but if we have 80+ which could happen who knows... Sounds like we are going to have some pros playing though...

(hated to miss this one, but just couldn't get out of some domestic obligations that weekend...but will def. be at Wimberley)

Oct 10 2005, 03:24 PM
I wasn't there but I heard the Kid shot -23 on the day by shooting -10 on the shorts the first round and -13 on the mixed (some long/some short) in the second round. That -13 should be rated pretty freakin high.

Recap:

Matt Hall goes crazy and wins Open by 9 shots
Half the open field learns what happens when The Gun scores the card for 18 holes, not the 21 actually played (correct score + 2)

Boo wins Advanced by 6, would have finished T-2nd in Open
Bender second as rest of leadercard collapses behind Boo

Louis Hall wins Advanced Masters by a bunch

60-70 people on a beautiful day for golf

No aces....

nice SUPPORT you JOCK STRAPS :D

Oct 10 2005, 06:04 PM
VPO AM never had a large pull from Houston. Think there were about 5 of us when I went. I bet signup rain hurt them the most - that always kills LSS events.

***BTW Vinnie you know I'm just messing with you :D***

Oct 10 2005, 06:14 PM
True about the signup rain. What really kill the turnout was OctoberFriz. We usually get a lot of Okies, but they aren't going anywhere but Winfield when it's FRIZ time.......can't say that i blame them! :D

Didn't get to see the "Bender Face Plant" this year though! :D

the_kid
Oct 10 2005, 11:13 PM
Actually to two. I have you 23 to 1 in ADV though. I have played what four open events with intent to accept and I have tied for 1st in one and won another. Give me a little while to get the jitters out and I'll start playing a lot better. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

cgflesner
Oct 11 2005, 12:46 AM
What does the sanctioning have to do with anything?

Do you remember Spring Valley?

I think I beat you at the snow farm, and we tied at States and Huntsville, so the questions should be are you finally going to beat me. :p :p

the_kid
Oct 11 2005, 12:49 AM
Oops forgot about Spring Valley. How about Waco pecan park ant that Moffitt event. I don't have time to look up the others. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif It's ok I will show you at states.
