I was just recently having this problem. I found that if I thought about turning my wrist out, it kept me from rolling it, and I could throw farther again

I had this problem for both my putts and drives.

I was able to fix my putting by doing stricly hyzer putts for about 3 months. When I went back to a semi flat release my wrist no longer broke at the release.

However I am still struggling with my drives and approaches. It happens about 40% of the time to me. I would really like some help in this area.........Blake???

imo the easiest way to deal with this is to practice with some very understable plastic.

i posted a set of drills on this a few months ago...

when i am working with people on it, generally i try to get them throwing hyzers that stay the same angle the entire flight and focusing on a high follow through.

be smooth/fluid, and do not focus on a string finish until after you are releasing clean.

not sure if your rolls are caused by shoulder rotation or by just wrist roll, but could easily be a combination of both. my last 15 or so posts in every thread have basically been covering this subject.

Thanks Blake,

That really makes sense, because a problem I have is when I try to throw too hard, the disc flips over (wrist break), and when I try to back down my throw, it seems I tend to release with too much hyzer. I have been working on finding a happy medium. When I go out to throw and really do not care about how far the disc goes is when I have the flattest farthest drives. Thanks again.
