Sweet! I am headed down there for sure on my way to USDGC this year! ( Hopefully my partner knows the course :D)

Sep 06 2005, 01:59 PM
who could that partner be Chris? it better not be Justin Bunnell because he holds the course record :o

Sep 07 2005, 11:17 AM
Any other teams plan on playing?
Schick and Tyler maybe?
Fred Salaz and Pete Caldwell returning champs?
Who else or is there going to be a switch?

Schweb and Schultz?
Hatfield & McCoy?

:p

I would say they are going to play the charlotte open. Good try though, Idlewild might just kick there Arse :p

Sep 07 2005, 11:35 AM
Isn't Idlewild a great tune-up course for the USDGC?

matthewblakely
Sep 07 2005, 11:40 AM
I wouldn't say that, unless your thinking you must know how your discs fly, and you must know some distance control. besides that the par is the only thing somewhat similar.

Sep 07 2005, 11:55 AM
Idlewild is long but accuracy is key too and the course forces you to carefully think about placement. I've never played the USDGC... I guess the OB there is prominent...

Hey, is Zack already in Michigan? If not, tell him to check his email...

matthewblakely
Sep 07 2005, 11:58 AM
He probably can't check his email, I would say he does not have computer access right now, if he did he would probably be posting here which he isn't doing.

What about some of the AM teams.
NIck Engle and ? JP maybe

What is the story
Any others plan on traveling to this tourney at Idlewild?

Sep 13 2005, 01:22 PM
if you liked the Toboggan course at the USADGC you'll probably love Idlewild. The pic.s of the course at www.CincinnatiDiscGolf.com (http://www.CincinnatiDiscGolf.com) are out of date -- there have been many improvements...

Playing a course like Idlewild in doubles can be a lot less brutal than taking on the course in singles :p

Matt, who is Zack Nash going to team up with?

Idlewild in doubles
I might be able to go over the top on hole #10 again, with a partner backing me up.

Sep 16 2005, 09:38 PM
I think Fred gave Lavone Wolfe a flyer and Lavone loves Idlewild... i'll have to ask Fred when i see him who else is signed up...

in Advanced i think it is:

Paul Dumont and Phil Miller (one half of last year's champ team)
Rob Johnston and Keith Dailey (one half of last year's champ team)
Nick Engle and Alan Clore
Craig Law and Zack Nash (although they may play Open)
who else is teaming up in Advanced?
