I just recently learned of this disc, and i want to give it a try since the champion version takes a while for me to break in. almost like a disc to use in the meantime.

but i have seen both 10X plastic, which is the one im buying, and then a 11x plastic that just looks like champion? i thought all KC plastic was white? and also how are the 11x, 10x, and the new 11x champion different?

The 11x is the same a Champion plastic. What you are looking for is 10x. I have several used ones that I would trade or sell for cheap. PM me if interested.

So there is no 11x KC pro plastic? even though its reads KC Pro on the disc? I was going to buy a 10x on ebay today, but i would prefer getting it through here. not much to trade though. I have a champion ontario Stingray that i took out of my bag, but thats about it. what would yo want for a 10x with minimal Dings if any? i could care less how it looks, i just dont want one beat to hell before i get to use it.

And how would you compare them to the 11x champion? im assuming they will just fly less over stable because of the plastic.

if you don't know the difference between the two, just learn the 11x because it is readily available and should be for some time. Then you wont be crying when you lost your out of production disc because you can't replace it for a decent price.

10x isn't as overstable as 11x.

I have 4 used that are in very good shape. I would sell them for $35 including shipping.

I know for a fact that the 11x isnt readily available because scott lewis and steve brinster will kill for these in max weight. They are a lot sweeter than the champ teebirds.

Sep 02 2005, 02:10 PM
yea, well, i would like to know the weights of what you have, and i can tell you now i probably wont be buying 4. i throw anything 170+ so let me know.

i understand that i should learn my Champ 11x, but its fairly new now, and i cant use it for the straight shots i need it for yet. i want to use the 10X in the meantime, knowing that it will eventually become understable and ill switch to my 11X full time which will by then be perfect..

another thing is, i dont usually loose discs. in the year that ive been playing i havent lost one. i have looked for over an hr untill i found one, but i refuse to just give up. (knock on wood)

You want something that is straight, out of the box, and as long as a Teebird?

Try a Discraft Z-XL.

Teebirds are an overstable disc. The DX Teebirds beat up quickly, and the Pro line beats up even faster.

I would not worry about trying to get 11x KC Pro Teebirds, they will be in short supply soon, the Champion Teebirds (that happen to say 11x too) are readily available, just as stable, and take just the same amount of time to beat in. I have an 11x KC Pro in the bag. It is fickel, sometimes it holds a straight line, sometimes it turns over, and other times it acts like an overstable pig. And I have had that for 1 year now.

iwas gonna get a Z XL, but i loved mt TL so much new i just had to try another type of tee bird. the Champion TB i use now flys near perfect, just a bit over stable, so i know it will be what i need once broken in. my DX TB is so understable its worse than my TL, and it dosent fly as far.

i may be trying the XL because that was always the next disc on my list to buy, but id love to try the 10 x too.

IMO the Tracker is between a Champ Teebird and a CFR TL.

I am not sure how it compares to an XL though...Discraft guys? My_Hero?

11x are made from the same plastic as the old pro line firebirds and monsters, from what I understand they are a little stiffer, faster, flatter, and a litttle more stable.

i beleive i heard dave d say the 11x [old pro] and champ were the same plastic, diff. stamp. --i think i have an old 11x t somewhere--i will pull it out and check it out--

Thx Will for the Commentary in my absense :)
Anyway...

Although it is said that the original 11x Stamp and the new CHampion Stamp are the same I have to disagree.. I definately believe they feel different and if anything they look better.

THey were made a long time ago and seem to be different than the new champion plastic..

Also You just calll your Teebird a Champion Teebird if it says Champion Teebird on it.. Although it says 11x.. ALL CHAMPION teebirds are from the 11x Era... Only 1 KC pro Teebird is from the 11x era and that is how we can identify the disc.. So if you have a Champion Teebird DO not call it an 11x.. Since it is not a KC pro Teebird but a CHampion becuase of it's stamp.

P.s. Will is the man. Listen to him. He tour up MSDGC i hear ! :) Congrats.

If you want a Champion Teebird (Not an 11x KC stamp, but the ones that are readily available) to fly like its beat in, buy a lighter weight....

Id say stay with the teebird instead of trying a new mold. Teebirds are GREAT!!!

Good luck with whatever you decide.

its actually a quote from a movie. and just because it mentions gays dosent make it ofensive. i have friends that are [I'm a potty-mouth!], they thought that it was hilarious (from 40 yr old virgin btw...) it wasnt in any way ment to be offensive, and im sorry if it seemed that way.

plus, im not a dead head, its just my name.....

Gokay, dont worry about it. i just got a bit defensive. i dont wanna be seen as some steriotypical prick when in real life im far from it. its easy to draw conclusions about a person when youve only seen them talk online a few times, and because of that i didnt want people to get the wrong idea.

gas here is 3.60, and it keeps goin up every day. i rode a bike to the course today, because i didnt wanna spend 3$ going there and back. its rediculous.

All of the 11x KC's read Rancho Cucuamonga, CA.
Most of the new CHampion T's say Rancho CUcamonga, CAL. (Althoug I have found many CHampion stamp T's that are the CA. mold, and are really 11x's) The CAL has a flatter wing, IMO, and has both more highspeed turn and more lowspeed fade. I say The 11x will hold a straighter line. But Dave says that

"The Teebird mold was duplicated, and now there are 2. They should fly exactly the same."
Or something along those lines. But I don't think they do
