Dammit, I knew there was another name I was leaving out. :)
Just one name omitted Mark?
You're leaving out the east coast dream team of:
1. Nick- true am class- Kight
2. Jeff- this topic was covered (hyperlink)on this thread-LaLungGrassa
..and of course.....
3.Her highness trio of AnneHyzer/Frisbee/Morgan Fairchild
By the way can we MADCers make a trade with you Texans?
We'll take the Sandalman as an even trade for any one of the aforementioned east coast talking heads.
whaddya say, any takers?

ah, i'm touched!
the only problem is that dislike of The Lung and AnneHyzer is sparse and localized while hatred of Nicki is deep and universal. i like both Jeff and Morgan and wouldnt mind being in the same state as either of them... but Texas has a brain and is keeping the 2MR by and large... i cannot picture Texas taking Nick... there's people out here that have never met him that have given up the sport because of him. so PA is stuck with him. i'm gonna need a signing bonus , and a healthy one at that!
We would only trade if you had another sandal wearing, computer literate, plastic chunking comedian to offer. Oh wait there is only one......AND WE GOT HIM! :D

In all honesty Nick is fun to golf with and hang out with. Just avoid politcal talk and controversial debate topics and rules semantics.
Those who know him in person and don't read his posts would never understand the disdain others have for him.
My mouth gets me in trouble. For him it's his keyboard.
As far as the trade goes, you think after six months of Nick's Texas residency, Mark would be clamoring to get you back?

to my face he would say so, but behind me back, no way! :D
I know I bash Nick alot but its all fun and games. Nothing on this board should be taken into your personal life. I am sure he is a cool cat, he used the word "nads". This is someone I can relate to.

I met several people at the worlds flymart that didn't know Nick personally and asked if I'd point him out for them.
I'd start to look to finger him and I'd have to hesitate and make sure the person wasn't armed or had any serious malice in their eyes.
I have to go on record and say, in all sincerity he has dedicated a lot to the sport and specificly our mid-atlantic region. He has created many of the Brandywine tournament artwork designs for the flyers, t-shirts and tournament discs.Has been the webmaster for the Madgic Times website I believe since its inception. He's put countless manhours in various course workdays. Has been a huge part of the leadership in our regional club for much of the past 18yrs or so. Is he opinionated? Absolutely. Does he step on people's toes? No question. However he has brought more positives than negatives. You all (or y'all for you Texans) are probably disagreeing with me now, but his heart is in the right place even if his stance on the two meter rule isn't.
We are not saying his heart is in the wrong place. We are saying he evolves into an Azzzz online. Alot of us do. Its part of our nature. No one is taking it personally, I promise. ;)

Agreed. Sometimes I think terms like "hatred" are a little harsh and for those who read some of the drivel here could get the wrong impression.

Why did Atwood delete all of his posts? Or did someone do it for him? :D

Apparently there is freedom of thought and freedom of speech, but censorship of the written text.
We all know that I AM the most annoying poster hands down. I think Terry got paturbed when he saw the results of his poll. So he has to do what he does best. Which is the reason the poll got startd in the first place.
No I am not really shocked, that was sarcasm. :D

Nick has done all those things and more. And I defended him for years because of his numerous and tireless efforts. And more often than not, Nick took upon the work that no one else was willing to do. However, I have discovered over the last few years that his personality has begun to hinder many efforts. I think a lot of people would get more involved but decide not to because of having to interact with Nick. The Mid-Atlantic Disc Club used to be a thriving and powerful regional organization but I don't think that is the case since Nick took over an executive position there. (An exception must be made for the highly successful Pro Worlds tournament that MADC host clubs joined together to support, although Nick had little to do with that) I just don't think Nick has the personality to be involved in leadership roles in disc golf. He tries to win flies with vinegar rather than honey. And though his heart may be in the right place, he doesn't even realize how he comes across to others. (And I fully realize that I lack this leadership potential as well, I was pretty much useless as Vice President of my local disc golf club several years ago)
Nick does have useful skills that are valuable to the disc golf community, but in his leadership roles, the negatives are outweighing the positives.
Towards the end it sounds like you are talking about me. :D
