No disc golf on your local community / public access TV station? Get your free copy to submit and hear folks say "I saw disc golf on TV last night!"

Disc Golf Live video magazine episode seven should soon reach our broadcast partners across the country. Thanks to all who have helped facilitate broadcasts or submitted material for the show.

DGL is a PDGA-supported initiative bringing disc golf to community and public access TV stations anywhere a disc golfer is able to submit the show for broadcast. Underwriting for this episode was also provided by Discraft and Discwing, Ltd.

Episode Seven starts out with a trip to New Mexico for a piece submitted by Mark Pritchard called "The Perfect Game." Then the National Championships take center stage as we review the spectrum of these events, including a detailed look at the United States Disc Golf Championship coming up this October. The folks at EDGE have a promotional DVD to share which includes details on their school-based curriculum, and we also take a look back at the men's Amateur Grandmaster competition from the '04 Des Moines Worlds. Along the way there's footage of a shot far more rare than an ace (we caught one of these, too,) plus local and national event calendars, and more.

More information about Disc Golf Live, including details on submitting video for the show and links to public access TV listings, can be found at www.discgolflive.com. (http://www.discgolflive.com.) Copies are provided for free to local broadcast partners. Individual subscriptions are also available.

nice pitch Joe, it grabbed my attention. I wonder what shot was more rare that an ace?

A black ace? A DROT off the tee thow? A wedgie that pops in? An outside nub hanger? I'm curious too.

Never had one myself, never even saw one. But I had the tape running and caught it most clearly.

Rendroc shows up in this one, in the filler at the end, punching out a sweet drive on #4 Original. Oh, and I think one of your less than glorious putts made the "sounds of disc golf" segment - a rather tough miss on #3. I think you were off in the bushes so only I know its you (so it was probably someone else, anyway).
