Just use the acetone and rub on it with a towel or something, or does it need to soak?

I didnt steal it.... I bought it. Anyway there are three names on the bottom scribbled out and it looks like crap. I want to put mine on there, but not with the others on there.

ive tried getting ink off, but most of the time the ink has seeped into the plastic on the bottom. i can always get off the top layer, but i never can get the ink that is actually 'in' the plastic.

i recently took off all of my hotstamps, and id love to take off the writing on the bottom of some of my champion discs to make them totally see-thru, but no matter what i try it dosent come off....

No need to soak it. A rag or cotton balls work.

How do you take off the hotstamps?

"100% acetone DONT STEAL DISCS AND DO THIS"

It just takes a little longer then sharpie. Innovas stamps on their champion plastic come off easier then Discrafts on their Elite Z

I heard acetone can destroy the plastic...is that only dx/d or is it all of them? I've also got a few discs from trades that I want to do this to. Also, where would you get smaller containers of acetone? I checked a few places and their smallest containers would last me at least 3 lifetimes :)

You can get ink off most low end plastic, but once you get above that you're out of luck.

I partially remove the Hotstamps off all of my discs and haven't noticed any real difference in getting them off Z or Champ. Plastic.

I use 100% acetone wipe off what I want then rinse under water.

I just use my wifes nail polish remover, which reminds me I need to buy her more.

I have never had it destroy any of my discs. However I only throw Champion or Z plastic.

I would not suggest leaving the acetone on the disc overnight, but I have let it set for 5 minutes and it was fine, no damage to the disc.
