A new 1 hole course (8 alternate tees) called "M.T.L." (stands for Many Trees Left) has surfaced in Raleigh NC.
All 9 layouts (original, blue, purple, white, pink, red, black, silver, and magenta, are playable at all times). This course is located at MTL's casa and boasts some of the most amazing things you will ever see in this sport.
Amount of holes over 200 - 0
Amount of holes under 100 - 6
Amount of Trees - Unknown.
Tees - 1 concrete, 1 brick, 1 deck, 6 natural.
The course record of -7 (20) was set by
Justin Jernigan (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/playerstats.php?PDGANum=22284) this afternoon. A heated 3 way battle between course designer Robert Leonard (well, I picked where to put the basket), Justin Jernigan, and Jeff Yahn took place. JJ , who was not involved in the 5 dollar side bet, would have taken home the win - Robert Leonard hit a clutch 7 foot putt on the challenging 9th green (well, its also the challenging 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th 7th, and 8th green) to steal the win, the hopes, dreams, and more impotantly, the hard earned 5 dollars (not from disc golf - he doesn't cash at that) from one Jeff Yahn
This course is NOT open to the public b/c my parents don't want people over to play it. However, restrooms are available (they are located below the 8th fairway b/c that shot is over the house, just please don't hit the flowers - mom doesn;t approve of that and makes me give OB strokes for it.)
Other random course statistics.
Number of players to play M.T.L. - 4
Number of players with player ratings higher than Disc Pimp to play the course - 4
Number of World Champs to play the course - 1. (A quarter of our traffic at M.T.L. has been from World Champs - I'd like to see your course beat that!).
Number of holes with no fairway - 5
Number of holes I throw a thumb roller - 1
Number of holes you tee from OB - 3
AMount of time I've spent working on the course - between 30 seconds a minute, (depending on how long it takes to the move the basket).
AMount of time I just wasted by typing all this - roughly 8 mins. ( I could have moved the basket 8-16 times while typing this)
Amount of time you just wasted by reading this - varries - depends on how fast you read (or how fast you clicked out the window)
Course maps are not available simply b/c its one f'n hole and a retard could see it.
