ok so im leaving to go up north on vacation with my family and i am gonna hit a few courses up there with my dad. the courses we are going to play are at about 3000 feet above see level. i know that higher elevation makes discs more over stable and going form a few hundred feet above sea level to 3000 feet is a big jump.

so im wonder ing with my power and style what drivwer should i get?

i throw a 169 champ orc about 375-400 using a hyser flip style. what should be my move?

While I dont have much experience with elevation changes, Id say just drop a few grams down and see what happens. Maybe go to a 160ish/low 170 Valk or Sidewinder....

sea level to 3000 ft. won't make much difference. i say "as you were" and see what happens

3000 feet won't make much difference??? IMHO just a few 1000 makes a tremendous difference. I live right around 5000, when I went to play a tournament at 7000 feet I noticed a huge difference. I virtually eliminated all but three drivers. Everything was too overstable. When I went to Portland to play some golf, I noticed even my overstable drivers diving right uncontrollable.

i live and play at 9000 ft. i also play at 6000 alot. there is a big diff. in those elevations and sea level. i do not notice much diff. in sea level up to about 4000. alot has to do with air pressure and humidity as well. thicker air is more like lower elevation.

I usually play at 700ft, and going down to sea level, I noticed a difference then. You might be able to still use your same discs, but just be prepared to have to anhyzer everything.

If you don't want change your throwing style, just use lighter discs at the higher elevations.

You'll be fine at 3000. I used to live in Chicago area around 600 ft and moved to Colorado where im now at 5000 and I use the same discs. It may take a few throws to get used to it as the discs will be a touch more stable. You should have no problems sticking with what you have especially if you know your discs well.

Forgot to mention, I throw hyzer flip drives with orcs as well usually a little heavier though 172-175g pushing them out to around that distance. But like I said you'll be fine with what you have.
