For those of you who have flown to Disc Golf tournies before, how do you travel with your umbrella? I would hate to be with out one with the way weather is up in Flagstaff, yet I don't wanna have to buy a new one once I'm there. What should I do!?

Buy a new one at Wal-Mart and chock it up as part of the cost of the trip. They have some real nice ones for $9. Worth it considering the hassel of packing one.

It depends on how big of an umbrella you need. I have a Tote's umbrella that folds down to about a foot long. It has about a 4' wingspan when it's open. I've taken it on every plane trip for the last 10 years. It fits nicely on the golf bag, too. Not too bulky.

If you need a jumbo golf umbrella, then definately hit the Walmart. You can get a cheapo and then give it away to someone who drove to Worlds.

Another option is to check the umbrella as baggage if you have the bag allowance to do so. Be sure to put it in a cardboard box to prevent breakage.
