*The City of McKinney is building a parking lot at the Alex Clark DG Course, and it won't be done in time for the normal end of August date for this tournament. So we have pushed it back to October 15th.

**Sign ups at the Wednesday Night Mini will be available starting in September.

***Lunch and 2nd round start will be determined by the length of the 1st round and will be announced & posted if moved

Advanced and Pro playing short and long or all long?

Aug 18 2005, 12:32 AM
what about #1? Will construction be done by then?

Aug 18 2005, 02:34 PM
in the past, everyone played the shorts one round and I know the pro's played the longs the next.

The tournament was moved because of the construction. It will happen October 15th no matter what.

Same day as Waterloo too :(

But there weekend was moved because of construction and the weekend was picked by the family of Alex Clark who no longer even live in the McKinney area, they all have to fly in to attend.

Now that is dedication...it is always great to see his dad out there walking around with the players and supporting this event...

watching Alex's brother win last year was great!

Aug 25 2005, 02:23 PM
We will probably add 3 holes to bring it up to 21 holes - however it depends on what's available with the lay of the land once the construction is over.

Pro and Adv will play 1 long, 1 short round. All others will play both rounds from the shorts.

What kind of construction is going on in the fairway for #1? A parking lot? I noticed yesterday that there's a tee pad acrose the creek from #6. Is that going to be a new #1? Just curious.

So it is now september - starting next week at the Wednesday Night Mini I will begin accepting signups.

Sep 28 2005, 02:26 PM

Sign ups are still available Wed. Nights at the mini. Also will be on titledisc in the near future.

Bryan,

Can I trade some stuff I won from the Carrollton tourney? I got 6 midrange discs (Rocs, etc..). I would even be willing to trade 3 for 1. I would rather have a disc I will use than six I wont...
