just so I undrestand this is 1 day $50 event with PDGA sanctioning?

Aug 02 2005, 06:31 PM
Yes, one-day C-tier, pro is $50 just like it has been for the past few years at Team D events. I am sure there is some way to cut up to Hunstville from Beaumont that is faster than driving in to 45????

Aug 02 2005, 06:38 PM
You can take 105 in Beaumont which cuts a huge corner and leads up to Conroe.

I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!!

Aug 05 2005, 05:10 PM
So I hope you guys offer a Pro-Masters division, because there is a Pro-Masters Division at Texas States. No Masters division, I will pass on these events :(

Aug 05 2005, 05:14 PM
- Any division opened for two or more (no trophy)

I will do trophies if I get several pre-registrations for a division. I do expect we will have a Masters division at most of the events.

Actually, consider it added.

Aug 05 2005, 05:15 PM
I think the TD has to offer a division if there is 3 players in that division?

Aug 05 2005, 07:42 PM
I think the TD has to offer a division if there is 3 players in that division?

Not if it is advertised, that it is not offered. However, I advertised I would offer with two people wanting a division, so what is your point?

NOTE the new title sponsor!!!! :D

Aug 15 2005, 11:55 PM
Well, we got some GREAT news today when we picked up a new title sponsor. Please welcome FlynHighDiscGolf.com. Their web site will not be live until the weekend, but I thought I would go a head and get the good news out. FlynHighDiscGolf.com is going to be a full service online shop and they will also have a very cool specialty disc golf cart bag. Look for more information over the next few weeks.

DONT FORGET THE HUNTSVILLE EVENT THIS SATURDAY!!!! Ben has promised to have the titledisc.com information up late tonight or early tomorrow morning, and the deadline for signing up early and getting a players pack for AMS has been extended through when titledisc.com closes down Thursday night, so get your sign ups in early!

Give me a call if you have any questions (832) 279-8084.

Which means I'll see you in Huntsville on Saturday...

Is the course cart-friendly?

Aug 17 2005, 05:31 PM
I played the course recently with a golf cart, don't see why a pull cart could not be used, if your into those.

Aug 17 2005, 05:34 PM
SWEET sounds like we will have our self a tourney after all LMFAO - - so in the past two weeks I have gone from geee, I have a tourney coming up, to

New title sponsor (Thanks FlynHighDiscGolf.com)...
Tourney stamped discs making it on time...
Top 15 pro making it to the event...

John,

Can you not offer $10,000 for 1st place in MPO this weekend? That way Matt can play MPO, cash, and not hurt his eligibility for any scholarships, financial aid, or other college gravy (athletic or academic). :)

-Anonymous MA1 player. ;)

Aug 18 2005, 01:03 AM
I'll help you run your B-tiers Matt. You never said, where was it you offered to help. It obviously was not at the GCCS events...

Come play ma1 and decline prizes if you want to. I'll bump the winnings down to the lesser underlings. :D

The open division is looking rather interesting with ET, #200 himself and a player who has not played since the 86 softy was in vogue. He called #200 at Oshmans - - WHAT SHOULD I BUY! Hehe

For this one, anyone who registers before titledisc is cut off early in the morning on Friday will get a players pack. That is any player, any division

Thanks El Chili.

A huge thanks to the DuFranes for having us invade their property for the day. This is one of my favorite courses. El Chili you would really like it...I think you would have shot an -8 to -10 under for the day. Lot's of shade, interesting mix of holes and a great lunch!
I was fortunate to play with the amazing Matt Hall. Joe found some trouble on a couple holes or he would have won it with strokes to spare. It all came down to the last hole. Too bad E. Tracy did not make it.
Looking forward to my next FLYNHIGHDISCGOLF.COM LONE STAR SERIES tournament...always well run and staffed. Thanks John, you do a good job.

It was any throw not staying on the green goes to the drop zone, not throw to the drop zone...

Chuck said in another thread that ratings are 8 points low because Theo hasn't fixed the online ratings formula. They seem right to me, I said I shot 930 golf...
