Why is it that A pool Pro's are rated higher than B pool Pro's for the same course and same scores??????
B pool had a different schedule than A Pool and some players who started in B pool moved up to A Pool along with others who went from A to B.

The B pool undoubtedly has more pros who are still improving. The A pool has more pros who are as good as they are going to get, or who are improving only very slowly.
After that, it is simply a matter of understanding how you calculate an average.

Because the A pool has higher rated pros than the B pool does so the A pool will always have higher rating than the B pool.

I've noticed a few of the ratings are wrong. Just a quick glance and I saw Kim Scot-Woods 5th round is listed shooting a 55 at Nox when he was in the B pool at the time. Also Ed Willaims was in the B Pool as well during his 1st round. He didnt shoot a 55 at Nox either. I'm sure there are a few other mistakes...

They are unofficial ratings.
The pools and layouts will be rectified by the ratings committee when the results are processed.

also wanted to note that there are a few players whose AA, AB, BA, and BB codes are off still. I assume this will be fixed when all is finalized, but these ratings are not anywhere near official as of yet, so preliminary ratings are not 100%. for example,
Pool AA played N J T T N L J
Pool BA played J N T T N L J
Pool AB played N J T J T N L
Pool BB played J N T J T N L
kinda confusing, but if you figure out when the Nockamixon rounds were played you should be able to figure out what pool they are in.
from that equation, I figure these people are listed wrong, and should be in these pool groupings...

Still not changed, I played AA. I'm sure my 65 at Nocky was not a 915 and I'm also sure my 56 at Jordan was not a 1044, both are probably 995.

It's unlikely the online unofficial ratings will be fixed since we'll be spending our time getting the files prepared for official ratings processing in September for both Worlds.

Understood Chuck, Thanks for all your efforts.

I kinda of figured this already, this is why we are taking unoffical ratings off of your hands. I dont realy care what all the assumptions are, we are working with the PDGA to help build there system. We are not doing anything unethical. You will see that we are volunteering our time to the benefit of the sport. *** is not trying to take over anything, only add to it what people are requesting. The PDGA will see that this our goal and the rumors will stop. If this post gets deleted because I mentioned United Disc Golf then I cant help it. I just wish we could all get along like the family every one boasts about, although I am still waiting to see that those words put to action.
What are you saying? Are you boasting because you are implementing what people have been requesting for a long time? Oh, I know, your saying that you are going to listen to your customers now. Its quite alright as what we will do will be for free. By the way, thank you for not deleting my post. Whatever you do we will support you and I just dont feel like you guys feel the same way. It is quite alright as we are moving along with some awesome ideas that are not posted. ;)
I was just wondering.....will the semi final rounds be rated? (for those divisions applicable)
