I was just looking at the "course messages" at discgolf.com and someone said they had gone to Kirkwood and "the course is CLOSED. They've torn it down to build condos for the ski resort there." I am hoping this person just didn't know where to look (since all of the holes are on the slopes) -- has anyone who has actually played the course before been there in the past few months? Is it still there? I am hoping so since I will be vacationing 10 minutes away from there in 2 weeks! :o

I drove by there on July 6th and the first few baskets were in. I'm not sure about the whole course, because they are building a new lift through the back 9. I'm planning on heading up there this weekend, so I'll give you an update in the next couple of days.

There are baskets on 1-10 and 18. They've been playing tee of 11 to basket 18 as an eleventh hole. There are branches to throw at in all the other sockets if you want to play the entire layout. Looks like the only hole that has any actual construction on it is 17. You might have trouble on that one if they are working at the time.
