Ok, I've picked up a couple of these over the last few weeks at events, and just today got my first non hot stamped one I'm considering throwing. The one I have tossed around has seemed to be slightly less stable than my wasp-z-buzzzs and is deffinately gummier.
Does anyone use these in their regular rotation? What are other people's opinions of em?
I have a cryztal buzzz. I found it in the river at a local course pretty much brand new. It hasnt grown on me quite like I thought it would though.
I wouldnt really call mine gummy either. Mine is pretty slick, like champion plastic.

In terms of stability for me;
Flat top Z buzzz = straight, slight fade at end
Crystal Z buzzz = more stable, straight into light headwind. less than a Z Wasp.
Z Wasp = stable hyser mid.

They are stamped as having weights between 173-178g. To me that is too big of a weight difference, Crystal Challengers are marked 172-174g a much better spread.
You may have one that is close to 173g and would be significantly less stable then your (wasp)Buzzz if it was 178g.
i have 2 of these for sale. pm me for details

Indeed the weight statement was correct. I got out my digital scale and it is, in fact, at the bottom of the weight range, while I throw the rest of my buzzzs at 177.
I have two CryZtal Buzzzs right now. A pretty pink one and a pretty purple one. They are delightful. The pink one seems more overstable than my Z Wasp. It flies very similar to my first run Buzzzs. Because of this, I got rid of my first runs and switched over to the CryZtal Buzzz. The ones I have are so flat they are actually somewhat concave. Is this unusual?
I have a cyrztal Z Buzzz. I find it to be more overstable than any of the Z-buzzzes i have..
From what i've thrown i'd rate them under to overstable:
1st run z-buzzz
Flast top Z-buzzz
Crystal Buzzz
I still have my 1st run and flat top in the bag so i have no reason for the crystal, but i throw it every now and again and i like the feel. seems to go very far on a nice little flat hyzer line.

The Crystal weight stamping is kind of annoying. I'm going to start weight marking them in my merch. Jon says I can get a gram scale for $20 at Walmart. I'll have to sell two discs first, I guess.

I reccomend the TAYLOR LITHIUM digital scale from Meijer. It's what I used to get all my avengers/buzzs/found discs weights straight. It doesn't have .1 accuracy, but neither does my arm.

I've got a crystal buzzz, and quite frankly it's the only discraft disc I own or throw (besides my ganni tray at home, got a z-cyclone for that). It's also my primary midrange nightgolf disk as well. I was burning thru DX rocs far too quickly and I wasn't going to pay fiddy bones for a champ roc. No tanks. I've been quite pleased with it so far, that's for sure.
