The more I see it the more I am in awe !!
That being Dr.Rick Voakes winning a NT at age 51 yrs old back a few years ago. And coming in fourth that same year at the World Championships in Open Div.

I played a Practice Round with him back earlier in year at Lovers Lane . Not a particularly long Driver but a Great Putter.

You really have to be in superb physical shape at that age as well as mentally sharp to win against 20 and 30yr old world class athletes!!

Just simply amazing

P.S. And I noticed looking back just recently he came in 3rd in Moccassin Tourney late last year in Florida . Beating out Schultz and other Pros at the ripe age of 55.

I seem to remember reading an interview a few years ago with Dr. Rick where he commented about setting up a basket inside an indoor squash court (raquetball court?) and practicing putting all winter long.

He can be one DEADLY putter!

Ray Rogers must be around the same age and he pulled a 996 rated round at

and all the while he had a cigar in his mouth

If Dr Rick is within 100 feet of the basket he is going to hit chains.. He may not be able to drive it 400+, but he more than makes up for it with his accuracy and his putting. I saw him sink a putt from about 90 feet at lovers lane a couple weeks ago.. through a grove of trees no less.
