Looks like some people want to go ahead and crown this Coda Hatfield as the "next champ". Well, I guess Matt Orum might have something to say about that :o

And if I am not mistaken isn't he younger ???

What do I say to anyone who wants to go ahead and crown any of these talented young guns as the next Climo: HERE IS 50 CENTS AND GIVE ME A CALL IN 15 YEARS
Then and only then we will see if you ended up matching up to the Champ !!

Justin Jeringan might have something to say about it. I wish all of the younger generation the best. It's great to see all of this talent at such a young age. Keep up the good work guys.

There will never be another Climo, nobody will ever dominate the sport like he did during the 90's.

The "Champ" is the Champ, that's why he's called that, he's earned it. But, is there something wrong with recognizing the next great bunch of golfers coming up?
You'd have to be an [I'm a potty-mouth!] if you didn't recognize or acknowledge the potential of the <font color="blue">"Young Greats". </font> Climo will always be the "Champ", it just might be in <font color="green"> Pro Masters </font> here shortly. :D

Everyone said that exact same thing 25 years ago about Nicklaus and his seemingly unmatchable dominance!!
Now a guy by the name of Tiger might also have something to say about that :D

And it is great to see such young guys excelling at such a high level.........Makes DG even that more exciting and fun to keep up with !!

In 15 years a phone call is going to be like $3.

Having met both Coda and Matt O, and from what everyone says about Justin...Not only are the 'kids' great golfers, they also are great folks, which is just as important IMO.

Exactly. Greatness has not been described. There have been many 6'6" guards to play in the NBA, but then there is Jordan.

IMO there will always be bigger/ stronger/ faster.. after all it's only human to improve.

Lance Armstrong embarasses the BEST bikers in the world year after year.

Ryan leaf was an amazing college quarterback. But now he wont even make anyone's top 1,000 list

Greatness can only be demonstrated after the win. Nobody is great before they play.

I mean think about it... The odds are that the best disc golfer alive has probably never held a disc.

If you consider the billions of eggs and sperms out there, the best disc golfer of all time probably never got conceived.
