Has anyone noticed that Jay Reading has recently stepped it up? His finishes have been near the top lately.
I met him a couple years ago at Hambrick & he was super-nice, good to see him tearing it up!

Ill second that. I kicked it and had a chat with Jay after the tournament in Columbus and hes one of the coolest guys youll ever meet and when it comes to disc golf he knows what hes talking about and im sure he would be willing to give just about anyone some advice if they asked him for it.

The Readings are class acts and its great to see them doing well on tour. Hopefully they are still touring next year when I hit the road :D(if I save enough money)

How 'bout the dual citizenship they have with TEXAS!
They are the best couple in disc golf and pretty much anywhere else too! It is great to see Jay cashing so high lately. :)

I like Jay even if he does resemble a sasquatch. It sort of adds to his charm.

Yeah, Mister Des Reading is getting his own name and kicking butt.

I met him once and he's as nice as a back rub. Must be practicing.

Don't let your beautiful, and talented wife take all of the glory just because she's a 2x Open Womens Champ!!!! You rocked the casbah as well!!!!!! Congrats on your performance this year.

On a side note, let it be known that Yeti is the worlds most talented karaoke beatboxer at 4am in the WORLD! I'll never forget that!

That is too funny My-Hero-a birthday party to remember fo'shur. Hangin' in the Top Ten all week was definitive fun. Played a couple great private courses in Vermont and Maine on our va-ca-tion. Way more chillin' than disc golf though, believe it. Wild Maine Buleberry pancakes this morning thanks to Des. Hell, we each had a Lobster for dinner last night. Alright it is in season and only $5.50 per lb.
Even touring disc golfers can afford that.

What up Jay???

5.50 a lb for lobster??? Thats CHEAP!!! I would eat lobster all the time if it was that cheap!!!

See you in Warwick next friday!!!

Yeti
Aug 11 2005, 12:53 PM
True that! Mine weighed in at 2 lbs and man I don't know what I used think was Lobster, but this was sure it. We watched the ol' boys boil it up right in front of us. I told them I had to come to Maine for a "real" lobster and invited them for a trade anytime they want a "real" Pork Chop. The moment of the night though had to be getting Des to try the "tomalley". Thats the green pastey liver inside. It is a delicacy and is actually quite good. We are trying to rent traps and get a couple more.......water is 50 degrees though....shrinkage!?

One more leg of the Triple Crown. NY States and Marshall Street sure met all expectations. Dan Doyle and BriMark did a great job fundraising and the Brooklyn Brewery Party was nuts!! This weekend same story with Dodge and Southwick proving once again, they have the formula for a tremendously successful tournament. The PlayersPackage, courses, payout, camping and party are all new level when packaged together on a weekend. There were a bunch of us who signed up for 2006 on the spot!!
And a little horn toot for Yeti shooting tournament course records on back to back weekends :D
-14, 40 opening round at Warwick, Skylands
-4, 50 Gold course at Pyramids, MSDGC
I was told I beat both records by 3 strokes and ratings are said to be off but are estimated at 1076 and 1054!

Look out Paw Paw.....Would have been there by now but I broke a tooth last night. On a piece of bread
I think it is a cracked filling. If I get it pulled I'll be welcomed right in by the fine folks of West Virginia :o

Jay Reading is the man, coolest guy ever @ marshall street, I think he should be the newest member in Man Unit since val has the TT's in her signature. That and he owns the courses in the northeast now.

My 2 year old son loves The Backyardigans. A few weeks ago I was laying on the floor watching TV with him and this episode came on. I was laughing my a** off watching this and thinking of Jay the Yeti the whole time.

Seewhere, I see you speak a little German.....

I like "Was ein Fickner Witz". So much of what happens on here is....

But I have to question "Wenn seines zu Langes Ihres zu Altes" with this. Was meinst du? Bist du eifersuechtig? :D

Should "Altes" have been "Altist"?
