i also will be traveling around ny (buffalo) , oh (cleveland, akron, and canton), and pa (allentown and philadelphia) this summer. :) i will be on vacation from the 1st until the 18th of august. my rough plans so far are to be in the buffalo area until the 3rd, then in ohio until the 10th, then in pa until the 18th. my rough list of courses i'd like to play are: buffalo---- evangola, beaver island, and joseph davis.... ohio---- lincoln park, lakeshore park, arboretum-spiker parks, sims park, hudson springs, roscoe ewing, great blue heron, and freedlander park.... pennsylvania---- nockamixon, tinicum, south mountain, french creek, roland park, tyler state park, sedgley woods, jordan creek, and hickory run. any info on these courses (or any others in the area) would be greatly appreciated. i probably will not play all on the list so i'd like to knowwhich would be recommended by people who know them. thanks :)

There are 36 holes at French Creek State Park, but along with South Mountain, is not a 'must-play' course. DEFINITELY play all four Pro Worlds 2005 courses: Little Lehigh Parkway and Jordan Creek in the Allentown area, and Nockamixon and Tinicium in Bucks County. Tyler State Park is not very far from the latter and also makes a nice addition to your itinerary. As you come down I-81 from New York, you may want to give thought to playing the Prompton Dam State Park course outside of Scranton, PA as well as Hickory Run.
Have you consulted my Review Page of Disc Golf Courses in the Mid-Atlantic Region? (http://www.geocities.com/the_lung/discgolf.htm)

Hi, I recently played a course in Massillon, Ohio, just west of Canton, and it is one of the nicest courses I have played in a long time. Great elevation and hole diversity. I highly recommend it.

Theres also a course in Canton rite by the Football HOF.. Our local Medina course is under heavy construction of a pavement walkway, but still a very nice course despite the dirt piles and construction vehicles :DTheres also to courses up by Cleveland.. One in Euclid (Sims Park) and a difficult to par 9 hole course in Richmond Hts! Check em out!
