Where do I go to get the special package deal on Wizard putters? Seems like more than one person has been able to get five or more of them for right around thirty-five dollars.

I took advantage of this (10 instead of 5) and e-mailed them a polite request for weights and stiffnesses. It (along with my ghettorific blue barrel target) has shaved MANY strokes from my game. They guys over there at gateway are great to work with.

I e-mailed Dave directly ( I hope I got the name right), and mailed him a check. I believe he contacted me. I'll let you know when I get them. I'm hoping tomorrow cause I'm a-traveling this weekend to go play.

I just got mine in the mail yesterday asimo.

I emailed the office ahead of time to request similar weights and different plastics as I have never thrown Wizards before. I received all 172 g discs with one each of supersoft, soft, medium, and firm. The fifth disc was also a soft.

Gateway may have just found a new, full time customer. I love their plastic. Can't find a better price for the quality of these putters. I might order up at least one more set with this great deal.

This sounds gross, but I've been wanting to get my hands on a Firm Wizard for a while now. ;) Let me know how you think it compares both flight and feel wise to the Medium.

Just remember - the "Soft Wizard" still has a stiff rim and is harder than an Aviar and the is the typical Wizard putter that you see. I have played with the Soft Wizard for a few weeks, and my putting has been more consistent b/c the disc doesn't lose its original characteristics.

Also, I am trying to play with the new Evolution Wizard that Devan Owens, who is sponsored by Gateway, gave me a few weeks ago. It seems like a very tacky / slightly more stable version of the Aviar. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

Through my experience with Gateway sponsored players ( mostly Devan and Matt H) and the quality of plastic, they have gained my future business.

Yeah, I have at least one Wizard in each stiffness except Firm. I'm using a Medium Wizard for drives and I'm wondering how it compares to the Firm. It seems strange that they'd make a disc more firm than the Medium (I agree that the Soft is similar in stiffnes to other manufactuer's "non-soft" putters).

What's the stiffness like on the E Wizard you have? The one I have seems to be getting floppier and floppier the more I use it. It's also developing these tiny dents around the underside of the wing but they don't seem to affect the flight. It's a great overstable putter but I do wish it was a bit stiffer.

Feel-wise between the medium and soft I couldn't tell much. However, to me the firm is quite a bit more firm than the others. I like the feel of it so far especially for forehand approaches. This afternoon I plan to find a field and throw these puppies for a bit to see how they fly.

I am aware of the hard rim on the wizards. I am not sure the wizard will become my dedicated putter, but it may become my upshot disc. I am still a sucker for the soft JK Aviars for putting, but they do lack something for some upshots. I am betting the supersoft wizard will be a great rain approach disc.

Still haven't gotten mine. I am hoping they are a little heavier than 172.

I have 6 wizards, 3med, 3 soft. I practice p&a will all of them and it has done wonders fro my game.

Its rim is a little softer, and it will likely develop some dents with use, but it is great for my straddle putting b/c it doesn't require so much umph to get it there.

About the other guys JK love, I would suggest you move to a stiffer putter b/c the JK gets eaten up by the wind. The KC Pro Aviars beat in really well or try the Evolution Wizard. My doubles partner uses a JK, and he has to over compensate, which just adds more difficulty than needed, in order to deal with the wind and avoid the inevitable float / an-hyzer flip.

How much difference can 2 grams make anyway? 172 versus 174 in a putter is pretty much moot in most cases.

Alrighty, I am very glad I went with this Wizard deal. I was at the loacl course Sunday. The wind was blowing about 20 mph steady. I played a round with my JK Aviar, a firm Wizard and a E Sabre. Let me just tell you that I have definately found a place for the Wizard in my bag.

I threw the firm Wizard for every second shot. I clanked metal on four separate hole from outside 100 feet. I even got a deuce from about 50 feet on a hole I have never birdied before! The firm Wizard held up great in the wind. I threw the Wizard at full power and it still seemed to hold its line great. I didn't have the blow-by I normally experience with similar shots throw with a mid range disc, but I was still able to throw the same shots. Does that make sense?

The firm Wizard also did hold up better to the wind on my putts than my JK Aviar. I am going to try either the medium or soft to become my wind putter.

Does anyone know the delivery times for these putters? I placed an order on Friday and was hoping to have them by this Thursday.

It took about 7 business days for mine to get to good old Idaho. And I ordered as they were trying to move homes.

i ordered a wizard deal a month or two ago, through the website, and got it like 2 days later.

I ordered the 10 disc special and it took two weeks to get the order.
They seem pretty busy at the office, I would have hoped to get to order quicker but good things come to those who wait.
