Do you like/dislike the BlowFly putter? Do you use one? If so, in what situations? Is there another soft putter you prefer to it? What other putters do you carry?

I use a ridiculously soft (at least as floppy as a Blowfly) 3x JK Aviar for everything ~65 feet in & couldn't be happier.
I use the blow fly and gumb putt. They are awesome for controlled putts. Do not use if a twig is in the way of you and the basket cause with any deflection no matter how insignificant, the putter will always go hay wire.
great for 30-80 foot putts. Straight as an arrow(no, not the disc) :D

BlowFly was my first real putter. I got tired of it's Roll-Away-a-Bility and went to the Giant BlowFly. (Is that the BlowFly II?) 177g of floppy overstable pig bliss. Wouldn't roll because it would fold in half on impact.
I wanted a straighter putter so I went to the SE Rhyno. (They were a lot softer when they firwst came out.) Rhyno was still pretty overstable, but I liked the plastic. When the JK Aviar finally came out I swtiched to that and have been completely happy with it. (Not the super-gummy one and not the super hard one.)

I goofed around with the original Blowfly sometime in the 90s and again in 2002 but the ergonamic grip never worked for me. I do like soft plastic putters and will probably give the JK Aviar a try out when I get my next Innova shipment.
I use one super hard aviar, one super soft aviar, one swirl, and a blowfly/gumb putt depending on the weather conditions. This is all I need from 200' in using a RHBH. I might pull out a buzz if its @ 200 and I have to have a controlled thread the needle shot.
All in all, people will laugh and point and tell you to put that thing away, but with a little practice you will be taking those guys money quick. I love it!!!
I have a Blowfly II that I use when I am close to the basket and need to throw an anhyzer approach and don't want it to roll at all. When mine hits the ground it stops. I also use it for annhyzer runs in the same situation (when I don't want it to roll).

My dog loves 'em! Best catching disc ever.
I really like the blowfly, but I use it more as an approach disc than a putter. It is a good 'touch' disc - when I say that I mean that it is very controllable. However, like another poster said - the disc will go crazy if it touches any leaf/twig on its flight path. If you like soft putters you may want to check some others out. My personal favorite is the soft challenger (discraft) - I find it to be very predictable and it holds any line you put on it. There is also the JK aviar, the soft magnet, proline soft rhyno etc.
