I bought a lot of Disc today and two of them kinda had me interested in something. I noticed the TeeBird was the old CE plastic. How much are these things worth these days? I noticed allot of people wanting this plastic I guess since it is no longer in production? Does this plastic fly or hold up better than the new Champion? I have never thrown a CE before. Also I got a 1st run Spirit Gateway disc. Are these worth anything above normal cost? Thanks for the info.

If that Spirit is in a plastic similar to the CE stuff, then NO, I'll take it off you hands for free. :D
IF the Spirit is in a ueretheyne based plastic (IE: "Candy") than there are those people out there (Myself included) that hunt for them. Otherwise, its probably only worth as much as any other regular run.
How can I tell for sure? It feels and looks like no other plastic I have ever seen. Its even stiffer than the CE or Champion, but feels very hard.

It sounds like the ones I'm talking about...this stuff is WAY more durable than anything else on the market right now. Do you have a picture? What weight? Color?
I sent you an email with all the info on it. Anyone know about the CE TeeBird?
if it's CE it will say Champion Edition Teebird...
if there is no stamp on it becuase it wore off it should have a decent stiffness.
also colors to look for are opaque red, yellow, etc.. they are very opaque with no Pearly crap like the new stuff.

p.s. CE teebirds are still in demand.

From what I understand about the Spirit, it probably isn't worth anything more than what you'd normally pay for a disc. I don't think they're making S Spirits anymore, but I doubt there's a demand for them. Most people prefer the Spirit in E plastic.
Thank you for that info. It feels so different from other plastics I have thrown. I may just have to take it out and throw it one day. I don't have much room for drivers in my bag through so it may have to make a Ebay run. Thanks again.

It's probably going to be very, very overstable. The S Spirit I have was similar to the older H/E Speed Demon I had and now that's it's beat in some it's similar to the newer E Speed Demon. It's still more overstable than a new E Spirit and works great for long, low hyzers and flex shots. I can only get fairway driver-type distances out of it, but it's great into the wind and for sidearm shots that must end hyzer.
