Okay, so I may be moving to St. Louis next month. This is really quick, but I am thinking about the truly important things...

Can anyone in the area recommend some (nice) neighborhoods that are in close proximity to a good course(s)? By nice, I don't necessarily mean yuppie. What I'm looking for is middle/upper-middle income with a bunch of hippie/artsy stuff to do. I think "The loop" area is nice, but are there any others that anyone can recommend? The closer to a course, the better. The better the course... outstanding.

sioux passage, endicott, quail ridge are all supposed to be great courses.

I know this is a stupid question, but there aren't any courses near a Metrolink stop, are there? That would be way too cool for it to be reality...

Okay, it's official. I'm moving to St. Louis, and with a QUICKNESS (July 15), so I'm bumping this and hoping to get either some good advice on neighborhoods near courses, or someone who knows where I can get an apartment really quick. Creve Coeur looks pretty nice, and it seems to be in vicinity of some nice courses, but I'm still up for suggestions.
