Any Minnesotans know anything about this course? It was probably our best course, but they started making changes and adding even more holes.

Last year I went there and they closed the back 9 (imo the best holes). I just went a couple days ago and although the sign saying the back 9 are closed is now gone, they stilll seem to be closed and I'm wondering if they will ever be opened again.

Kaposia just isn't the same, they added a lot of "in the woods" holes to keep it at 18 holes, but its more of an average course in it s present state.

The old back nine have been used for temp events like the MN Majestic on Memorial weekend. There are some old dump issues to be resolved in the back nine area before the planned paved trail will be installed that links to the new crosswalk over Hwy 52. Then, they might take a look at a redesigned version of those holes back there that is safe for the new trail. Likely take a few years for this process to unfold.
