I saw an interesting post on a Sidwinder thread comparing the Buzz to a Spider (in jest). In my hands the Buzz flies remarkably like a Cobra (we're talking Champ plastic). So if you like a less stable midrange that holds a good line (very little low speed fade) and has very good glide, and you're committed to Innova, this could be your disc.
Who doesn't like a buzzz!!!! :D

The Cobra is much more of an "S" disc than the Buzz. If you throw the Cobra flat it will turn more than a Buzz and fade the same. If you throw the Cobra with a little hyzer it will fly straight like the Buzz, but it will fade more as it slows. The Cobra has a little more glide, the Buzz penetrates the air better and is longer on a straight line.

The Buzzz is the best midrange disc IMO. I don't think the champion cobra flies like the Buzzz's at all. Maybe it's just my throwing style, but the buzz holds any line you put on it, unlike the Cobra which is just right the whole time.

I carry both. My cobra is straight and my buzzz is more overstable. A good combo for mid-range stuff.

Same here, Buzzz for straight to left, Cobra for straight to right. Both are great discs.
The Buzz feels too much like an overvalued Aero and at high speeds is capable of occasionally becoming "flippy". The Cobra, on the other hand, flies farther for me and holds any line I bestow upon it.
I stand by my champion cobras as they have become my go to discs. From the experience I have with a buzz I would say its quite a bit more stable than the champion cobra. In my hand cobras take much less effort for the same distance. Cobra to me seems to have more speed and glide making for longer straight shots. As an stable/overstable compliment to my cobras ive been carrying a q sentinel which I would definately recomend to anyone who throws champion cobras, has the same feel, seems kind of like a cobra x. This thread does have me curious though and I'm going to have to break out the buzz for some comparisons tonight.

Hoeslaw, ya still monitoring the Coyote thread? I also use the Ch Cobra as my go-to. You are going to like the 'Yote!
Yeah I have been I'm hopefully headed to pick up some discs today or tomorrow and the coyote is at the top of the list. Thanks for the recommendation.

A Champion Cobra is more stable than a Z Buzz
However , I have thrown the New X Buzz in white plastic and it flys like a Champion Roc.............
Why is the X-Buzz more stable than the Z -Buzz ?
This guy I know , just bought a Z -Wasp , Blue , 177grams and it flys straight , not overstable !!!!! Are some Wasp's more Stable than other Wasp's ? Are we back to that Color thing again !!!!!!

"My" Z-Buzzz + "My" Ch. Cobra = "My" Coyote

Don't say like that! I should be recieving a max wt. Z Wasp today which better be more overstable than my 172 X Wasp.
I have a 173 green tournament stamped Z-Wasp that flies as straight as my beat to hell DX Roc and straighter than my new DX Roc, both Rocs are blue

There were a few runs of Z-Buzzz's that were domey. These freakish things are flippy right out of the box, basically similar to the glide. Thankfully the latest few runs have been back to the normal flat tops. The flat tops are stable and what is sought after by most players.
Now if a Champion Cobra was more stable then a Flat Z-Buzzz of same weight, and both were thrown EXACTLY the same, I would really like to see that Cobra.
Some of Discrafts discs had different stabilities due to the different dyes used for each color. It seemed most predominate with the Flash and Crush. The cooler colors were least stable while the hotter colors were the most stable.
I have yet to find an understable Wasp, or at least one that was not beat in to death. They will flip flat when thrown hard with Hyzer, but always finish with a hard left fade.
Mentioned earlier in another post was the stability of the different plastics. I found that the Pro-D Buzzz was slightly more stable then the Z-Buzzz. At least to the point where you could release it with a major anhyzer and it will fall back flat. The Pro-D Wasp was just as stable as the Z for me. However I would not waste my time with the Photon Glow Wasp, they are FLIP CITY! It was almost as flippy as a Cobra.
