Watching some of the US Open today and checking out beautiful Pinehurst #2 !!
Some things popped in my head. Wondering if any of the Disc Golf Course Designers were ever involved in Stick Golf Course design ??

Seems to be similarities in the general design. Clearing of fairways, tee off area, woods, water , and rough involved. Although I know green development in stick is more involved obviously.

Also what would Barry Schultz shoot Disc golf on Augusta if you put baskets exactly where each hole is ?? Would he break 90 or 80 ?? Maybe 70 ??

I imagine he could not tee off with a Disc 300yds like Tiger. But he could get some rollers out there. And putting with a Disc from 30 ft. is more of a gimme for PDGA Pros than it is for a PGA Pro.
It would be interesting !!

we had a ball golf vs. discgolf challenge on a 16,000+ ball golf course and the disc golfers spanked the ball golfers across the board!! oh yeah it was dubs. I think the best score was a 61 or 62 with a 63 right behind and those were disc golfers scores!! :D

I wish I hadn't missed that at least I know people who were there. If they do it again I'll be there.
