Yeah, so, it's not that I don't want to spend $85/night to stay in the hotel... but I don't. Can anyone recommend camping in the area? Prices would be nice too, but if I could just get some names I can do the calling myself. BTW: By "camping" I mean with a tent, not a "camper". Thanks!

Potato Creek State Park (http://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/properties/park_potatocreek.html) is about 12 miles south of town.
KOA South Bend (http://www.koa.com/where/in/14153/) is probably most convenient for travelling between the courses and home base.
Potato Creek is farther but less expensive per night.

Doug,
If I still had my house you would be welcome to pitch camp there, but I dont. Maybe someone up here will see this and offer their backyard and facilities. Good luck!
By the way, played the Fly 18 course in Trafalgar yet? I got the chance this last weekend, very cool course, I highly recommend it! Also played Brookside for the first time, but I played it in the monsoon that hit Indy Sunday afternoon. Nice course, looks like a duece or die there for the Checker Flag Open next month.

Mini-Mountain is just west of South Bend. At one time they were thinking about putting in a course. The owners are nice people if it is still owned by them.
This link is to the Elkhart County Fairgrounds. http://www.4hfair.org/camping.htm It is located about six miles from Ox Bow and one mile from my house. While the site is close to Ox Bow it would be east of both Ferrettie Baugo and Rum Village.
I would suggest calling ahead to find out rates, etc.
Potato Creek is full for the weekend of the event.
