Would you please suggest a course or two for me. I'll be up there in July. Thanks.

Cedar Hill is the best if you ask me.
all the courses in Nashville are worth playing. If you are limited, skip going north to Sanders Ferry and Galitan (spelling) Those 2 courses are better than most, but not as good as all the others in the area.
I didn't have time to play in Nashville this year, but I did play Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, and Shelby Forest.

Speaking not as a Nashville golfer but a traveler who's played most of the courses---
You must play Cedar Hill. It's a terrfic course. (5th best on my personal list of 82 courses played).
After that, depends on your tastes. Seven Oaks is a fine, mostly wooded course; Two Rivers (?) is open, on huge grassy hills with large trees, but not much else (fine for big arms). If you can fit in in, all 3 courses are within about 20 minutes of each other along Briley Parkway.
Pizza_God is right that all course around Nashville are worth playing.
Yeah I agree with these two guys. Cedar Hill is a hell of a Course. Built for Pros. Seven Oakes is also a nice and challenging wooded and open course.
These two are my favorite two courses out of 31 I have played.
Incidentally Sanders Ferry is #5 on my list. Not really a Pros Course but fun with water involved on a couple of holes. If you have time to play by all means do it.But it is a little drive to Hendrsonville.
P.S. At cedar Hill be careful when you bend over to pick up your Discs. The meat whistle blowers are very prevalant and roaming around and might violate you. Its an on going problem in that park :(
Metro just ran a " homo" sting there two weeks ago. Its ashame when you hear catcalls from single guys driving by as your throwing a Roc !!
I had no idea that this thread would become homophobic.
Is thread titled, "Show me in words your ignorance"?

That is so funny, that explains something that happened out there last time I played. :D
Is that why I always seem to have the course to my self.
I played Sanders Ferry a few years ago, several of the holes were borring, but several along the lake were cool. I really like the hole that throws up to the little cemetary. (sorry, I can't remember the hole numbers)
Yeah,
Its bad but also good in a way. You can literally go on a beautiful April saturday, 70 degrees ,low humidity and have the whole course to yourself. And go 10 minutes over to 7 Oakes and its slammed !!
I think its because the Course is so damned hard and because of the " local inhabitants ".
Its great to have a World Class Course almost always totally available for your Disc Golfing needs. But its sad the Disc Golfers and families who frequent the park have to put up with preverts having sex throughout the whole area. Metro seems to be cracking down with their stings but it has gotten almost intolerable. All you see is these single guys continously driving around the park on the prowl in the middle of the day everyday. All I ask is go to a Motel !!
P.S. Franklin-Simpson up the road going to Bowling Green is brand new. Franklin,KY. is about 40 minutes from Nashville.
Very very challenging Long Course. a Professional type course with 3 or 4 over 600ft. and one 750ft.
watch out for cambagger! he's a player from OK! YEAH BABY
