Anyone know the highest course SSA's for an 18 hole course. I saw PawPaw was about 63, and I was amazed to find out that Knob Hill long to c-pins is a 64. What are some other high world class pars.

You just have to dig back several months for the lists:

thanks Chuck. Looks like the PFDO will feature 2 courses in that list this year. I imagine Moraine State Park will have a slightly higher SSA than Knob Hill. I can't wait to find out. Are you still coming for the PFDO?

Looking at the results from the Pittsburgh Flying Disc Open on 7/16/05 when the pins were in mostly B and C positions, Moraine State Park had an SSA of about 59 from the shorter White tees, and close to 66 from the longer Blue tees. The latter layout surely puts Moraine in the top 10 SSA permanent course layouts in the world.
PFDS members recently moved most poleholes into the 'A' pin position so the course is playing a few strokes easier right now. If you are planning a trip to the Pittsburgh area, DO NOT miss the chance to play this world class disc golf course!

Chris Barbo and I took a trip over to Pittsburgh today and had the chance to play both Knob Hill and Moraine. WOW! This was my first trip to either course and I am amazed. We played a round at Knob from the pads to the A pins. It turns out today was the final day of the Steel City challenge and those gentlemen were generous enough to shift all the baskets into the C pin configuration! We played again, same pads, totally different course. Much, much harder!
Afterwards, our host, Mike Lagamba, took us over to Moraine where I again had the chance to experience a new course. Thank the disc gods that the pins were in the A configuration because it gave me a little easier introduction to the course. Needless to say, Brilliant ! Hole 15 is stunning.
Well done on both courses and very nicely maintained. I love those signs at Knob.
Thanks PFDS and Mike for a great day.

Looking at the results from the Pittsburgh Flying Disc Open on 6/17/06 (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=5507&year=2006&includeRatings=1#Open), Moraine State Park again had an SSA of about 59 from the shorter White tees, and 66.5 from the longer Gold tees. There was a mixture of pin positions.
The latter layout surely puts Moraine in the top 10 SSA permanent course layouts in the world.

Did hole 4 finally sneak above 2.5 1000-rated average?

Did hole 4 finally sneak above 2.5 1000-rated average?
i sent you a spreadsheet for each of the three rounds. Hole 4 (now) averaged 3.05 to 3.09 for the field which averaged a 945 rating
(Masters at Idlewild - June 2006)
taking out all the players with ratings less than 950, for Round 1 the average score on Hole 4 was 3.00 and the average rating was 978.
taking out all players rated less than 975 for round 1, the average score on Hole 4 was 3.08 and the average rating was 993.
Taking out all payers rated below 985, the average score on Hole 4 was 3.11 and the average rating was 999
