The Boulder Woods Recreational Disc Golf Course has been upgraded at Gifford Pinchot State Park near Lewisberry, PA.
Four holes have been de-commissioned..... 5 new holes have been created....... along with 3 other holes having been modified into 2 longer holes......
Overall, the course has been lengthened by about 300', with 7 of the holes now playing as completely new or in a new configuration.
This recreational course is intended to introduce new players to the sport of Disc Golf (like families staying at the campgrounds), to provide a reasonable challenge for the amateur player who needs to develop a full range of various throwing skills, while still giving advanced amateurs the ability to practice their short game.
