Here are some more details about the inaugrual GHDGO as we near the 3 week togo mark...

100% Pro Payout (minus PDGA and NEFA Expenses)

The player's pack (AMs) will consist of your choice of a stamped Roc or Aviar (Special Thanx to Phil Kennedy for helping with the background design!)

http://www.wickhampark.org/GHDGO/GHDGO_2005.gif

The CTP Throw-off contest will have (at least) the following three prizes to choose from
1) an iPod Shuffle with a collection of PDGA Radio Podcasts stored inside
2) a Ching Skillshot Portable Basket
3) a Ching Mini-Skillshot

The 6-hole Safari will be conducted as a separate optional event following the GHDGO. The Awards ceremony will be conducted BEFORE top players tee-off to compete for $100 first prize, and $50 second prize.

At the event I'm hoping to demo a solar powered generator to provide the juice for a small PA system.

We're also working on having Eastern Mountain Sports come out and set up a tent with some gear, small giveaways, and maybe bike demos. To be confirmed...

There will be other small surprizes in the works as we attempt to establish trends that may carry into future tradition, including a demo of our soon to be launched bag-tag program.

Thanx!

11 days to go, and 14 slots remain. I'm reserving the last 2 spots for the "CT" USDGC rep slot. The slot is now open to all PDGA members, regardless of residence.

We'll also be conducting a putting contest in between rounds and during lunch.

Current registrant information can be found at http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=5274
